| I love beer but just like drinking it. This place was nearly full on a Sunday at noon. They had lager beer on tap and others only with a bottle. I had two lager beers. Good. Nice. Typical Franconian place except everybody at our table agreed the food was better than we expected. If you're in Buttenheim to visit the breweries there, it is well worth the jaunt up to Brauerei Sauer for another beer and some good food. | ||

| Just wanted to add a note that this place is open and lovely. Up on a hill near a nice pilgrimage church. Had about 20-30 people there on a nice Monday night. They serve Gunzendorfer beer from the Sauer brewery right from a little cave. Well off the beaten path. | ||
