| Two locations. In the winter head to town for the chicken and in the summer move to the gasthaus in the forest for a half meter of garlic pizza. Wonderful unfilered, uncarbonated lager beer. A+ for friendly staff. |

| We should not forget their pale "Bock" beer served in the cold winter months. |

[[[PARAGRAPH]]]
I've not yet been to the Gaststätte, only at the Keller on the edge of the woods a km or two south of the village. The keller tavern appears to be new and modern, and there's quite a bit to eat on offer.

| We visited here after the Barnikel. Very friendly Inn. They only had the Pils on tap but it was very good, very much a franconian style pils. Not too sharp; good hop charachter but nothing as pronounced as a northern German pils. |
