What's New?
Ongoing. We are constantly added to and upgrading the transportation and geographical database inorder to make planning you Franconian Beer Hunt easier. We have started to add bicycle path information.
June, 2004. We've switch to Map24 to provide maps. They have a much better algorithm for parsing German addresses. Check out their cool interactive Java maps!
December, 2003. We've started to build a hotel database. On every city page will be a link either "Hotels in..." or "No Hotels in ... Add One?"
April, 2003. When you click on a picture in the picture gallery, you can now send that picture to someone as an ePostCard.
February, 2003. Some of the breweries have additional pictures loaded. Just look for the line "See more pictures of ..." in the brewery listing.
January, 2003. We've added GPS waypoints for some breweries and improved the Calendar of Events page. Events also will list with a brewery.
September, 2002. We've added hotel information for those breweries that offer hotel rooms.
August 14th. You can now give each brewery a 1 - 5 ranking (5 being best) by clicking on "Rate this Brewery" on the brewery details page. You must register first in order to vote (just like in real life!)
August 12th.We've added a more complete registration process. In the near future registered users will be able to give their own rankings to beers and/or breweries.
August 9th. We've added search function to search for breweries by name.
August 4th. We've added our online store -- with exactly two items, only one of which you can buy right now. We hope to add all kinds of merchandise from Franconian Breweries.
August 1st. We've added a automatic Google search button to each brewery listing. Click it and a new window will open up with a google search of the brewery name.
