Update on the state of affairs in Bayern |

| It's gotten better in parts of the US and a shit show in others. Massachusetts and other New England states have done well despite being amongst the hardest hit. You can see this by looking at the curves in various states at the John Hopkins U. sites. We are gradually reopening here with outdoor seating first and both restaurants and breweries have expanded their outdoor seating and are doing some business. Indoor dining will likely open by end of this month or early July with limited capacity. Number of infections, hospitalizations, deaths, etc. continue to fall in my state (Mass.) all while gradually reopening. Not the same with other states like Florida and Texas for example. Beyond all this the future is still hard to predict. Vaccine or no vaccine? When? Will it even be needed? Is the virus getting less severe is it no getting less severe? When can we travel overseas again? All speculation still and not one of us has the answers. Learning as we go. |
