Prague around Christmas

I spent Christmas in Prague, about ten years ago. It was lovely and no problem finding open pubs. I seem to remember everything closing for the evening of the 24th but that was about it. Everywhere was very busy so it might be worth making a few reservations, especially for smaller places.
