IPA beers typically start to lose their hoppiness within a few months.  Surprised you can get a good tatste after 2 years.   I've shipped home from Munich numerous Weisse beers that tasted good after 1.5 years like Schneiderwesse.

So Weisse beer I'm sure and be preserved for longer periods than IPA.

Wonder what the time frames are as I woudl like to get some of Bock beers shipped to  the US from Bamberg area being made in 2017?  All I see in stores is Urback from Schlenkerla and can't find a date bottled on the label.

Any idea how long a good Bock beer lasts in a bottle?
