Interesting Franconia Reference

I order lots of stuff online and as a result, get quite literally, a ton of catalogs a year :( Browsing thru one ("The Territory Ahead") I saw a "Franconia Dobby Shirt". The little blurb said... "The map may say Bavaria. but the locals will correct you. Franconia lives on not as a nation but a still-distinct culture and landscape of limestone cliffs and hoodoos, steep wooded hillsides, rushing brooks and medieval villages. Each village has a pub or two, and many pubs brew to their own family recipe. Just turn your stein on its side to signal the barmaid for a refill. Our Franconia Dobby conveys the local independence of spirt..." (the rest is a description of the shirt) That's actually not a bad thumbnail description, and totally unexpected in a clothing catalog. Obviously the copywriter as been there.
