Yes, an imperial pint is roughly 568 ml while a US pint is roughly 473 ml. Historically they were the same but the UK changed their gallon in early 1800's. We didn't. In the US though, if you order a "pint" of beer you get glass that may be anywhere from 12oz to 16oz US. No standards, no marks on glasses, etc. etc.
