Just arrived in Bamberg by train

Apparently the strikes are sporadic...so I could go and not have a problem...or have strikes on big travel days Frankfurt--Bamberg, Bamberg--Mainz, Mainz--Antwerp. I hope they settle before Dec 5...or else I'll have to dcide if I want to take the chance. With the dollar plummetting, I'd prefer to use my rail pass rather than renting a car. Thanks Mike
