Christmas in Bamberg???

I can say this because I'm spoken for, but I'd say ditch the bf if he won't go to Bamberg. He won't get any sympathy here. You can go to a warm beach anytime, but I think December in Germany is special -- its where the North American Xmas traditions originated and it has not been commercialized to the extent it has in the US -- but the commercialization is increasing so go now before it gets worse.
