Berlin beer fest: not much Franconian

Yes, the Alts made a nice change from the pils. I never managed to find the Gose. Some of the smaller Berlin/Brandenburg breweries had excellent beers on sale. I suppose location and freshness play their part in this. Anyway, I am visiting the Nuremberg Aldstadt fest in September to compare. Mike
