Bavarian whisky (slightly off topic)

Have had one or two varieties of their whisky, and found it quite nice, although I'm no "Whiskykenner". I've heard that they have a special type which they serve from wood that is supposed to be amazing. I suppose I should stop in someday and try it out, too bad there's no good beer nearby! :)
