Baunach (Sippel) questions

Some of these breweries have a larger brew length then their current needs but it is a left over from older (better?) days. When we tour Brauerei Höhn in Memelsdorf the brewer said he brews once a month or so. He had a fairly large (with wood fired kettle) system. Actually Herr Straub down the street at Drei Kronnen replaced his large system with a smaller one so he could brew more often (and brew a variety of styles). That being said, Andy's news wouldn't surprise me. A couple of people have told me recently that while the beer was fine, it wasn't up to to quality of few years ago.
