| Much as it pains me to be the bearer of the following, it is with great sadness that I have to report the passing of John White (www.whitebeertravels.com) , after serious flood damage to his home and consequently much of his lifes work and library of beer books last week, followed by the stress of the aftermath, he suffered a massive heart attack on Monday from which he never recovered. My thoughts go to his wife Joyce and family in this dificult time. He will I am sure be missed by a great number of people around the world, both those who have shared drinks and experiences with him and those who knew him only through the internet. His passing leaves an empty seat at the Stammtisch of life that will be hard to fill. |
