Doerfleins - Kemmern - Hallstadt

Another option would be bus to Doerfleins, walk through the forest to Kemmern (Wagner & Kellers) then walk back along the river to Hallstadt and get the bus from Hallstadt back to Bamberg. I wouldn't recommend the walk from Bamberg to Hallstadt, it's much better beyond Hallstadt. As you expected it's all industrial Areas and busy roads between Bamberg and Hallstadt.
