| Prague is definitely outside the area of validity, Zatec (Saaz) as well. Checking the list of lines against a map, the area stretches from around Liberec NNE of Prague (near the Polish border) westward to Ceska Lipa, Decin, Usti nad Labem (and south along the river to Lovosice), Chomutov, Karlovy Vary and Cheb, and then south to Marianske lazne, SE to Plzen and on to Ceske Budejovice. All lines connecting these places and in the area up to the german border are included, as far as I can tell. There are only three cross-border connections you can use with this card: Marktredwitz - Cheb, Fürth im Wald - Domazlice and Zwiesel - Zelezna Ruda. There are also connections possible into Saxony, so if you add a Sachsen-ticket ..... As I am staying a few days at Amberg in august (before coming to Bamberg), I will study the possibilities. |
