CO2 dispense (was: Drinks warehouses)

Yes, I do know what a real ale is, and I do like a real ale, and I know that real ales should be dispensed with a typical low CO2 content. And I will not compare them with franconian beers, as I tend to restict drinking franconian beers in franconia, and real ales in britain. I drink local beers, and I drink beers locally. Nevertheless, at many camra festivals I've seen foreign beers being ruined by the use of handpumps or pressured air. One cannot put foreign beers that are not brewed like a british style real ale into the straitjacket of the dispensing methods that belong to a british style real ale. I've tasted continental beers being dispensed improperly, and they are really a disaster. And it is irrational too - there are hordes of camra members who spread out all over the rest of the world, and whenever they come in germany, belgium, chech republic or anywhere else they start behaving like lager louts (Munich, and specially the oktoberfest being a favourite destination), I've never heard them complaining about dispensing methods in the world outside the british isles. And I've even less seen anyone being poisoned by CO2 in their beer, whatever the source of the CO2. That's why I compare them with taliban (or fill in any other type of irrational fundamentalists): no discussion possible, just a fatwa on the use of CO2 for the dispense of *any* beer, period. If camra would restrict to bottles for the beers they cannot/will not dispense properly, it would be a major improvement.
