Please be aware that if you enter a (small) place with a big group, you'll change the atmosphere, and will not really get the original "true Franconian experience". You'll only be able to experience that in a group that is small enough not to influence the atmosphere. That is the reason why I personally keep my company limited. However, there will definitely be places that can cope with larger groups, including the more "touristy" style large kellers.
