| Again another of my personal favorites is Tommy Peoples but yeah probably not very well know unless your a fan of trad.
Side note since we're already way off topic here: For our wedding my wife and I hired a group of 10 traditional irish musicians that play regular sessions in the Boston area. One of the musicians was a 14 year old red-headed girl that was a phenom on the fiddle. I was told that she was tutored by Tommy Peoples. I wonder where she is now? By now she'd be in her 20's and if she kept going at that pace she'd have to be one of the best fiddle players in North America. The solo air followed by solo reel that she played at our wedding was stunning. |
