Where do I find these German beers?

| Optimator isn't available up there? Meh, I'd rather drink a Dänisch Starkbier. But if you haven't had it before, it's worth trying.
Don't know about the H-P, and I've been to Kloster Ettal once, where I did buy some bottles in person. Never seen them in Franconia though. The other two are unknown to me. Remember, this is a land of extremely provincial beer drinkers. Those are *Bavarian* beers, not Franconian. The big Münchener breweries are available here, as well as an occasional other Bavarian brewery like Tegernseer, but otherwise, it's local. Or the gigantic national pisswater. |
