Biking around Bamberg

| *Lots* of discussion about this over the years in the archives. Geisfeld is easy, yes, and the other non-strenuous possibilities from Bamberg (in any direction) are Legion. You have to pick a brewery or Bierkeller or two (or three) that you want to visit as destinations and plan a route. Don't do it without a GOOD map though, even if you think it's a simple route. And a GPS --especially with mapping capability-- is a hugely useful tool. AFA the latter goes, I've had < http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/User:Radfahrer/Radkarte > on my GPS for years now and swear by it. Many, many breweries and other kulinarische destinations are already on board. |
