| I've only had their most excellent pale, dry, strong Winterbock up at Café Abseits. It says there that you can get more details at the Bayerischer Rundschau webbie, but I can't find anything there. What you CAN see, however, is a report on how some unscrupulous hop farmers have used unapproved-for-hops pesticides the last couple of years. This has been in the papers a couple of times, but I failed to remember to post about it here. Apparently all affected hops have been recalled, none made it into any beer. http://www.br.de/fernsehen/bayerisches-fernsehen/sendungen/rundschau/hopfenbauern-pflanzenschutzmittel-ordnungswidrigkeitsverfahren100.html is the delightfully named link to the video. I personally would pay 20 cents more per Seidla for organic hops. |
