Need ideas for a Dec 07 Germany trip

Why not just focus on the Benelux then? Plan a trip back to this part of the country for summertime, when the Bierkeller are open. Münster? I personally wouldn't rate Zoiglbier as worth a beer tourist's time and effort unless they've already explored quite a bit of Franken. Winterbier in Hamburg? Probably something from Becks! (Never been to Hamburg--though it's high on our list of German destinations--so I claim ignorance.)
