Ah yes but. Staling of beer by oxygen is retarded by refrigeration, whatever the absorbtion rate of oxygen. In the normal way of things, as I said, it won't matter, as the ability of oxygen to potentially stale beer is is not an instant one. In other words you will in the case of GBBF, have sold the beer before any staling due to oxygen can be detected. It is as likely that any staling will be through problems of oxygen ingress somewhere in either the brewing or packaging process. Indeed in the malting process. Oxygen gives a progressive deteriorating effect on beer, not an immediate one.
