Walking & Bierkeller(s) around Bamberg

Yes bierkeller.de is great and it's the surrounding villages I'm looking for rather than Bamberg itself. I've also got the Kompass walking and cycling map for Frankonian Switzerland but it only shows South East of Bamberg and I'm sure there must be plenty of walking/beer/etc. in the other 3 directions. Has anyone seen any other good maps for sale in Bamberg or how helpful is the Tourist information office? I like the idea of getting on a bus to get out of Bamberg and walking from there. It does seem, however, that the timetable/bus route planners were not actually thinking of me when they designed the schedules. Something within about 3km of the bus stop would be ideal I suppose as my daughter, who is not yet 3 years old, tends to give up after that. Looking on bierkeller.de there do seem to be quite a lot of bierkellers in the surrounding villages serving interesting and cheap biers, but how often are these bottled biers?
